Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Purified E
The Bacteroides genus are the most prevalent anaerobic bacteria of the intestinal tract. Bacteroides distasonis is part of the normal human gut and fecal flora and occasionally causes intraabdominal infections. It has the smallest genome among the sequenced human gut-associated Bacteroidetes. Organisms of the Bacteroides genus carry a plethora of the mobile elements, such as plasmids and conjugative and mobilizable transposons, which are probably responsible for the spreading of resistance genes.
