Recombinant Human extracellular domain BAFF receptor, produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 63 amino acids fused with GST tag and having a molecular mass of 33600 Dalton.
Recombinant BAFF-R is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Catalog #B0003-68H
SolubilityIt is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Recombinant Human BAFF-R in sterile 18M -cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Dimers and aggregates 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
Biological ActivityMeasured in a cell inhibition assay using B lymphocyte cell line.
(The ED50 for this effect is typically 50~100ng/ml in the presence of 2.5ng/ml BAFF).
Endotoxin 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Human BAFF-R.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
