| BLNK plays a pivotal role in B cell activation through cross-linkage of the B-cell Receptor (BCR), leading to the activation of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs) including Syk. The resulting tyrosine phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk, provides docking sites for the SH2-containing effector molecules such as Vav, PLC gamma and the adaptor proteins Crb2 and Nck, thereby acting as a central linker protein in many different B cell signalling pathways involved in proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. | | | Catalog # | B0397-10A | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
