Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B
This gene encodes a nuclear protein containing a SWIRM domain, a FAD-binding motif, and an amine oxidase domain. This protein is a component of several histone deacetylase complexes, though it silences genes by functioning as a histone demethylase. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Catalog #B1087-11B
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Clone TypePolyclonal
FormSupplied as a liquid in Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7-8, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
PurityPurified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
ImmunogenA synthetic peptide which maps to a region between residues 50 and 100 of human FAD-binding protein BRAF35-HDAC complex 110 kDa using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry O60341 (GeneID 23028).
SpecificitySpecific for human BHC110-KIAA0601 protein. Species Crossreactivity: Human. Reactivity with mouse BHC110/KIAA0601 is likely based upon conservation of sequence between this ortholog and the human protein at the epitope. Other species have not been tested.
Important NoteThis product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological.
Alternate namesFAD-binding Protein, Amine Oxidase (Flavin Containing) Domain 2
