B-Myc is a member of the myc family of transcriptional regulators including c-myc, N-myc, L-myc and S-myc (1-2). Even though the biological role of B-myc has not yet been determined, B-myc has been show to inhibit c-myc function (3). Mostly expressed in the brain, protein expression in adrenal gland, pituitary gland, mammary gland, ovary, and uterus suggest that B-myc gene expression is associated with hormonally regulated tissues (4).

Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 1:500

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
