The 62kD c-myc gene product is involved in the regulation of the cell cycle and cell growth. p62c-myc is primarily located to the cell nucleus, but has also been shown to localized to the cytoplasm in several cell lines. Overexpression of c-myc has been reported in a wide variety of human cancers.

Applications	Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required for this application.

Hybridoma	Myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Recommended Negative Control	I1904-79D: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (PE)
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
