The CA-125 antigen is present on a mucin-like glycoprotein of >200kD and is detectable on the apical surface of normal endometrium and endocervix. | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and RIA. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Specific Protein | ~76,267U/ml (Elecsys CA-125). | | Total Protein | ~0.561 OD280nm units. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
