Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified IH
E-cadherin (uvomorulin, cell- CAM120/80) is a calcium dependent cell adhesion molecule expressed predominately in epithelial tissues. It plays an important role in the growth and development of cells via the mechanisms of control of tissue architecture and the maintenance of tissue integrity. Numerous studies have demonstrated that reduction and/or loss of E-cadherin expression in carcinomas correlates positively with the potential of these tumors for invasion and metastasis.
Catalog #C0108-25N2
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): Working dilution, ready to use. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C.
