| Cadherin-2 or Neural Cadherin is a member of the cadherin family of proteins that mediate calcium ion-dependent cell adhesion. Other members include E-cadherin and P-cadherin. Cadherin-2 is expressed in the brain and skeletal and cardiac muscle.
