| CIB1 (Calcium and integrin binding 1) is regulatory protein with 50% homology to calmodulin and calcineurin B, that encodes a member of the calcium-binding protein family. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined; however this protein is known to interact with DNA-dependent protein kinase and may play a role in kinase-phosphatase regulation of DNA end joining. | | | Catalog # | C0116-01A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:1000-1:2,000 | | Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2,000 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | Mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human CIB1 protein. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2b,k | | Clone No | 8k268 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Recombinant human CIB1 (1-191aa) purified from E. coli. | | Specificity | Recognizes human Calcium and Integrin Binding Protein 1 (SIP2-28, Calmyrin). | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
