Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B
Calcium/calmodulin kinase II (CaM Kinase II) is a multi-functional calcium and calmodulin-dependent protein kinase that mediates cellular responses to second messengers. The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phosphorylated-Thr286 found in rat brain CaM Kinase II. Phosphorylation of Thr286 produces an autonomously active form of CaM Kinase II.
Catalog #C1035-04D
ApplicationsSpecific for the detection of CaM Kinase II phosphorylated at Thr286 protein in Western blot and Dot blot. Not tested in other applications.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:500 to 1:2000.
Dot Blot: 1:500 to 1:2000.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
