Carbonyl reductase is one of several monomeric, NADPH-dependent oxidoreductases having wide specificity for carbonyl compounds. This enzyme is widely distributed in human tissues. Another carbonyl reductase gene, CRB3, lies close to this gene on chromosome 21q.

Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:16,000
Western Blot: 0.2-0.5ug/ml; ~30-35kD band seen in Human Liver and Kidney lysates [Calculated MW of 30.4kD according to NP_001748.1.
Immunohistochemistry: 1-2ug/ml; In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows cytoplasmic staining of epithelial cells of renal tubules.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
