Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is synthesized during development in the fetal gut and is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA or antigenic applications in immunological protocols. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityAliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
