| Beta-catenin-like protein 1 (CTNNBL1) is an apoptosis inducing protein with a structural homology to beta- catenin and other armadillo family proteins. CTNNBL1 is highly conservered across various species and it is primarily expressed in the nucleus of various tissues (1).In human, CTNNBL1 shows highest expression in skeletal muscle, placenta, heart, spleen, testis, and thyroid tissues.
