| Receptors for the C-C chemokine family include CCR-1, CCR-2A, CCR-3, CCR-4, CCR-5 and the Duffy blood group antigen. The C-C receptors are important in the function of T cell chemotaxis and migration of phagocytic cells to sites of inflammation. | | | Catalog # | C2099-65E | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:50,000 | | Western Blot: 1:1000 | | Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:300 | | Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | Human peripheral blood leukocytes or T-cell line Jurkatt. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | | | CAS Number | N/A | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 1mg/ml BSA, sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to TEDYDTTTEFDYGDATPC in human. Cellular Localization: Cell Membrane | | Specificity | Recognizes human CCR1. Peptide sequence is < 50% identical to other human chemokine receptors in this region. Species Crossreactivity: Mouse | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. | | Alternate names | Chemokine Receptor 1, CC-CKR-1 |
