| CCR2 (C-C chemokine receptor type 2 is, a transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, which acts as a receptor for the chemokines MCP-1 (monocyte chemoattractant protein 1), MCP-3 and MCP-4. Interaction between CD192 and MCP-1 initiates chemotactic responses, through an increase in intracellular calcium levels. CD192 acts as a co-receptor with CD4 for HIV1 infection, and variations in CD192 are associated with relative resistance to HIV1. | | | Catalog # | C2099-66J | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:60,000 | | Western Blotting: 1:1000 | | Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:200 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | Spleen | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
