| CCR6, otherwise known as CD196, is a multi-pass type 3 glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, which acts as a specific receptor for the C-C chemokine LARC (Liver and activation-regulated chemokine)/MIP-3alpha, a selective chemoattractant which induces calcium flux in CD196-expressing lymphocytes. CD196 is preferentially expressed by B cells, memory T cells and immature dendritic cells and properties attributed to CD196 include involvement in B lineage maturation and B cell differentiation, possible regulation of immune cell trafficking during inflammatory responses, and a co-receptor for HIV-1 infection. | | | Catalog # | C2099-70E | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
