| Receptors for the C-C chemokine family include CCR 1, CCR 2A, CCR 3, CCR 4, CCR 5 and the Duffy blood group antigen. The C-C receptors are important in the function of T cell chemotaxis and migration of phagocytic cells to sites of inflammation. The CCR8 receptor in particular mediates CC chemokine I 309 induced monocyte chemoattraction, HIV 1 envelope fusion and virus infection. | | | Catalog # | C2099-72J | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunocytochemistry: 1:500 | | Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:400 | | Western Blot: 1:1000 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | | | Mouse spleen cells. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol 40-50%, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Goat | | Source | Mouse | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 1mg/ml BSA, 0.1% sodium azide. | | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 7-33, PNVTMTDYYPDFFTA | | PCDAEFLLRGSM of mouse CCR8 (C-C chemokine receptor 8). | | Specificity | Recognizes mouse CCR8. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
