Receptors for the C-C chemokine family include CCR-1, CCR-2A, CCR-3, CCR-4, CCR-5 and the Duffy blood group antigen. The C-C receptors are important in the function of T cell chemotaxis and migration of phagocytic cells to sites of inflammation.

Mouse thymus or lymph nodes.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityRecognizes mouse CCR9. Peptide sequence is < 50% identical to other mouse chemokine receptors in this region. Species Crossreactivity: Expected to crossreact with human due to sequence homology. Likely to crossreact with human CCR9 with approximately 50% less titer.
