Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B
CC chemokine receptor 10/G protein-coupled receptor 2 (CCR-10/GRP2) is the receptor for the skin-associated CC chemokine CCL27 (CTACK/ALP/ILC). CCR-10 and MEC (mucosal epithelial ligand for CCR-10) play a role in unifying the localization of IgA plasma cells to the physically dispersed organs of the secretory IgA immune system. CCL27-CCR-10 interactions regulate T cell-mediated skin inflammation. CCL27-CCR-10 expression is increased in allergic contact dermatitis, indicating that it could be responsible for local skin memory. CCL27-CCR-10 expression may be involved in the selective recruitment to the skin of cytotoxic lymphocytes in epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and less severe drug-induced cutaneous diseases.
