| CC chemokine receptor 10/G protein-coupled receptor 2 (CCR-10/GRP2) is the receptor for the skin-associated CC chemokine CCL27 (CTACK/ALP/ILC). CCR-10 and MEC (mucosal epithelial ligand for CCR-10) play a role in unifying the localization of IgA plasma cells to the physically dispersed organs of the secretory IgA immune system. CCL27-CCR-10 interactions regulate T cell-mediated skin inflammation. CCL27-CCR-10 expression is increased in allergic contact dermatitis, indicating that it could be responsible for local skin memory. CCL27-CCR-10 expression may be involved in the selective recruitment to the skin of cytotoxic lymphocytes in epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and less severe drug-induced cutaneous diseases. | | | Catalog # | C2099-74G | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Mouse | | Concentration | 0.25mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of mouse CCR-10 | | Specificity | Reacts with the ~50kD mouse CCR-10 protein.
