| Recently, a function has been assigned to a previously identified orphan chemokine receptor, GPR-2. This receptor, also called CCR10, binds with monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1 beta. CCR10 is expressed by melanocytes, dermal fibroblasts, dermal microvascular endothelial cells, T cells as well as in skin-derived Langerhans cells. CCR10 may play a role in both skin homeostasis as well as a potential role in inflammatory responses. | | | Catalog # | C2099-74J1 | | Positive Control | A-375 or MCF-7 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | PBS containing 0.2% gelatin, 0.05% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Rabbit anti-CCR10 polyclonal antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 350-362 of human CCR10. In this region, mouse and human amino acid sequences are 100% identical. | | Specificity | Species Crossreactivity: Human | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. | | Alternate names | C-C Chemokine Receptor 10, CC-CCR-10 |
