| Recently, a function has been assigned to a previously identified orphan chemokine receptor, GPR-2. This receptor, also called CCR10, binds with monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1 beta. CCR10 is expressed by melanocytes, dermal fibroblasts, dermal microvascular endothelial cells, T cells as well as in skin-derived Langerhans cells. CCR10 may play a role in both skin homeostasis as well as a potential role in inflammatory responses. | | | Catalog # | C2102 | | Applications | Suitable for use Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml In A-375, ~50kD band is observed. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | A-375 or MCF-7 | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.05% sodium azide, 0.2% gelatin. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Peptide corresponding to amino acids 350-362 of human CCR10. | | Specificity | Recognizes CCR10.
