CD1d gene product is a 49kD heavy chain associated with beta-2-microglobulin on cortical thymocytes. Beta-2- microglobulin independent expression of CD1d has also been demonstrated on human intestinal epithelial cells.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections

Hybridoma	Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the NSO mouse myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
