| CD10 is a 90-110kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed on normal early lymphoid progenitor cells, immature B-cells in adult bone marrow and mature germinal center B cells in lymphoid tissue. It is also expressed in some non-lymphoid tissues such as fibroblasts, breast myoepithelium, gut epithelial cells and brush border of Kidney. CD10 is a zinc-binding enzyme with a neutral metalloendopeptidase activity which inactivates a range of biologically active peptides. It is a tumor-specific antigen expressed on cells of lymphoblastic, Burkitt's and follicular germinal center lymphoma and on cells from patients with CML. CD10 has been used as a positive immunohistochemical marker in the diagnosis of human ALL and renal cell carcinomas. | | | Catalog # | C2261-50B | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
