MME, also known as Neprilysin or CALLA for common acute lymphocytic leukemia antigen, is a Metallopeptidase M13 type protease. MME functions as a peptidase and inactivates several peptide hormones including glucagon, enkephalins, substance P, neurotensin, oxytocin, and bradykinin. The protein is found on leukemic cells of pre-B phenotype and serves as a cell-surface marker in the diagnosis of human acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL).

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
