| CD21 is a 145kD type I integral membrane glycoprotein. It is a receptor for C3d and Epstein Barr virus and is expressed on mature B cells, follicular dendritic cells and pharyngeal and cervical epithelial cells. It is also found on a subset of T cells and thymocytes.
