| The CD22 antigen is only expressed on the cell surface of mature B-lymphocytes. The CD22 antigen is expressed on > 90% of peripheral blood B-cells. CD22 is expressed on most peripheral B-cell lymphomas and leukemias including hairy cell leukemia, but not on the immature bone marrow type of leukemia. This antigen is not present on T-cell, monocytes or macrophages. |
