| CD34, a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein, is selectively expressed on human lymphoid and myeloid hematopoietic progenitor cells. This antibody is of value in the study of benign and malignant vascular tumors as well as characterization of leukemias. Staining for CD34 has been used to measure angiogenesis, which reportedly predicts tumor recurrence. | | | Catalog # | C2386-10 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:200 for 20-60 min at RT. May require special pretreatment for histochemical staining of formalin-fixed tissues by boiling tissues in10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | Placenta | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
