| CD49e is a type I membrane protein that associates non-covalently with integrin beta 1 (CD29) to form the heterodimer CD49e/CD29 (VLA-5). VLA-5 is expressed on mast cells, splenic B cells, thymocytes, T-cells and monocytes. The VLA-5 heterodimer forms the fibronectin receptor, which plays an important role in cell adhesion and migration. | | | Catalog # | C2405-02A | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
