CD55 is a cell surface antigen. It is a GPI linked molecule also known as Decay Accelerating Factor (DAF). CD55 is expressed by a wide range of cell types. Erythrocyte expression is very weak.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionFlow Cytometry: 1:5-1:12.5. Use 20ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:50-1:500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Note Use of this reagent to stain erythrocytes is not recommended.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
