| A strong immunohistochemical reaction is seen in hepatocytes, tissue macrophages, subsets of neurones and astrocytes in the central nervous system, fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, and monocyte-derived foam cells in atherosclerotic lesions in the arterial wall.
