| Human CD100 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the semaphorin gene family and is found on most hematopoietic cells except RBC, platelets and immature bone marrow cells. CD100 plays a key role in lymphocyte activation. | | | Catalog # | C2445-25B | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: 1ug/ml | | Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Flow Cytometry Protocol | 1. 5x10e5 cultred human HPB-MLT cells were washed and preincubated for 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2445-25B at 1ug/ml. | | 2. Wash cells twice and incubate with Streptavidin (PE). | | 3. Wash cells three times, fix and analyze using FACS. | | 3. Cells were stained positive with a mean shift of 0.83 log10 flourescent units when compared to a mouse IgGM/Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. | | 4. Binding was blocked when pre-incubatde 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml CD100 (C2445-25A). | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
