| ICAM-2 (CD102) is a cell surface glycoprotein, a ligand for the leukocyte integrin CD11a/CD18 (LFA-1).1 CD102 is constitutively expressed on T cells, B cells, and at high levels on vascular endothelial cells.2 It is also expressed on a variety of leukocyte cell lines.1 This antibody blocks the interaction between ICAM-2 and LFA-1.1 | | | Catalog # | C2445-40K | | Applications | • Flow cytometry 1, 2 | | • In vitro blocking assays 1 | | • Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) | | • Immunoprecipitation 1 | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: 0.2ug/10e6 cells | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2a,k | | Clone No | 5K55 | | Host | Rat | | Source | Mouse | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.1% sodium azide and a stabilizing agent. Conjugated to PE. | | Purity | Purified | | Immunogen | COS cells transfected with mouse ICAM-2 cDNA | | Specificity | Reacts with mouse ICAM-2 (CD102) cell surface glycoprotein | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
