CD103 is the integrin alphaE subunit which usually forms a heterodimer with the integrin beta7 subunit. It is expressed on intraepithelial lymphocytes and 1-2% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD103 binds E-cadherin on epithelial cells. This interaction may be of importance in the homing and retention of CD103+ lymphocytes in the intestinal epithelium.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
