Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Affinity Purified IH FC
Human CD105 (endoglin) is a homodimeric membrane glycoprotein virtually restricted to endothelial cells, and present on some leukemia cells and minor subsets of bone marrow cells. CD105 binds to TGF-b1 and b3 with high affinity. Antibody will augment binding of TGF-b1 to CD105 expressing leukemia cells
Catalog #C2446-50E1
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Flow Cytometry Protocol1. 5x10e5 Nalm-6 were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2446-50E1 at 5ug/ml.
2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with secondary reagent S7973-88P, Streptavidin/R-Phycoerythrin, after which they were washed three times fixed and analyzed using a FACS.
3. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.81 log10 fluorescent units when compared to I1904-78R2 IgG1/biotin Murine Negative Control at a similar concentration.
4. Binding was 99% blocked when cells were preincubated 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml C2446-50E, CD105.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
