| Human CD105 (endoglin) is a homodimeric membrane glycoprotein virtually restricted to endothelial cells, and present on some leukemia cells and minor subsets of bone marrow cells. CD105 binds to TGF-b1 and b3 with high affinity. Antibody will augment binding of TGF-b1 to CD105 expressing leukemia cells | | | Catalog # | C2446-50E1 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Flow Cytometry Protocol | 1. 5x10e5 Nalm-6 were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2446-50E1 at 5ug/ml. | | 2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with secondary reagent S7973-88P, Streptavidin/R-Phycoerythrin, after which they were washed three times fixed and analyzed using a FACS. | | 3. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.81 log10 fluorescent units when compared to I1904-78R2 IgG1/biotin Murine Negative Control at a similar concentration. | | 4. Binding was 99% blocked when cells were preincubated 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml C2446-50E, CD105. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1,k | | Clone No | 7H217 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.5, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% and 0.04% sodium azide..
