| Cdc25C is a tyrosine protein phosphatase required for progression of the cell cycle. Cdc25C activates cell cycle-specific cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), including cdc2, via dephosphorylation events (1,2). Cdc25C is activated via phosphorylation at Ser216 (3). In response to DNA damage and DNA replicational stress, Chk1 and Chk2 phosphorylate Cdc25C to prevent entry into mitosis (4,5). | | | Catalog # | C2560-15C | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blotting: 1:1,000 | | Immunocytochemistry: 1:50 | | Immunoprecipitation: 1:30 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
