Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Goat Affinity Purified E B
CDX2 (caudal-type homeobox protein 2), is a nuclear protein and member of the caudal homeobox family, which acts as a regulator for intestinal epithelium gene transcription, and possibly for the differentiation and proliferation of intestinal epithelial cells.
Studies have revealed the expression of CDX2 in intestinal-type gastric cancer, colorectal carcinomas and intestinal metaplasia of the stomach, and have implicated CDX2 as an early marker of Barrett's oesophagus, the premalignant lesion of oesophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC).
