Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Rat Affinity Purified E B N
Chemerin, also known as TIG2, is a distant member of the cystatin superfamily. The chemerin precursor is cleaved by multiple serine proteases at various sites near the C-terminus. Mature active chemerin is a 15-16kD heparin binding protein that induces immature dendritic cell and macrophage chemotaxis through interactions with ChemR23.
Catalog #C3890
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot, Neutralization and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsWestern Blot: 1ug/ml detects Chemerin in recombinant mouse Chemerin under non-reducing conditions.
Neutralization: 1-5ug/ml in the presence of 100ng/ml of recombinant mouse Chemerin. Measured by its ability to neutralize Chemerin-induced chemotaxis in the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human Chem R23.
Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
HybridomaMouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, E. coli-derived, recombinant mouse Chemerin (rmChemerin; aa17-156; Accession # NP_082128).
