| Chitin Hydrolysate is a highly concentrated solution of N-acetylglucosamine and oligomers of this sugar supplied in nearly saturated sodium chloride. This solution can be added to labeled or unlabeled lectins in controls to prevent labeling or agglutination, or it can be used to elute glycoproteins bound to agarose lectins. This mixture is an inhibitor for DSL, GSL II, LEL, STL, and WGA. | | | Catalog # | C4150-05 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
