Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded): 1:20 diluted in PBS. Immunocytochemistry: 1:20 diluted in PBS. Hela-229 cells were fixed in absolute methanol. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Chlamydia trachomatis
Form
Supplied as a liquid, 0.09% sodium azide.
Specificity
Recognizes an immune dominant epitope (location unknown) of the Chlamydia LPS. This LPS is a genus specific antigen. Reacts with C. trachomatis, C. psittaci and C. pneumoniae.
