Applications Suitable for use in both IgG and IgM detection in assays which include ELISA with polystyrene and latex solid phases and M capture formats. Sonicate immediately prior to use.
Inactivation Gamma radiation. Verified by inoculation of EBs on L cell monolayer. No growth were present.
Storage and StabilityFor long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.

PurityMouse L cells are infected with C. trachomatis elementary bodies. Optimally infected cells are harvested and disrupted by sonication in PBS. Cellular debris is removed using centrifugation.
