| Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor (CNTF) is a potent neural factor that was originally characterized as a survivability factor for chick ciliary neurons in vitro. More recently, CNTF has been shown to promote survivability and differentiation of other neuronal cell types. Recombinant Human CNTF is a 22.9kDa protein containing 200 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | C5073-06 | | Biological Activity | Determined by the ability to stimulate proliferation of huma nTF-1 cells using a concentration range of 50-150ng/ml | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
