CITED1 (Cbp/p300-Interacting Transactivator 1) / Melanocyte-specific protein 1 is highly expressed in most of the papillary thyroid carcinoma. It is not expressed in normal tissues except normal breast epithelium. Study shows that this protein functions as a selective coactivator for estrogen-dependent transcription.

Comments This antibody is excellent for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues.
ApplicationsImmunohistology (Formalin/paraffin): (Ab at 1:25-50 for 30 min) Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
