| CITED2 is an important transcriptional cofactor involved in multiple organ development. It is a cAMP-responsive element-binding protein (CBP)/p300 interacting transcriptional modulator and a proposed negative regulator for hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1_ through its competitive binding with HIF-1_ to CBP/p300. CITED2 is necessary for mouse fetal liver hematopoiesis and is required for the proper formation of the hyaloid vasculature and for lens morphogenesis. | | | Catalog # | C5675-06C | | Source | Recombinant CITED2 protein was expressed in E.coli. | | Molecular Weight | 29.5kD (278aa) | | AA Sequence | MADHMMAMNH GRFPDGTNGL HHHPAHRMGM GQFPSPHHHQ QQQPQHAFNA LMGEHIHYGA GNMNATSGIR HAMGPGTVNG GHPPSALAPA ARFNNSQFMG PPVASQGGSL PASMQLQKLN NQYFNHHPYP HNHYMPDLHP AAGHQMNGTN QHFRDCNPKH SGGSSTPGGS GGSSTPGGSG SSSGGGAGSS NSGGGSGSGN MPASVAHVPA AMLPPNVIDT DFIDEEVLMS LVIEMGLDRI KELPELWLGQ NEFDFMTDFV CKQQPSRVSC LEHHHHHH | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
