Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B IH
The amino acid Citrulline is required to detoxify the liver from ammonia, which is a waste product of the body from oxidation. Citrulline promotes energy and assists with the immune system. This unusual amino acid is formed in the urea cycle by the addition of carbon dioxide and ammonia to ornithine. It is then combined with aspartic acid to form arginosuccinic acid, which later is metabolized into the amino acid arginine.
Catalog #C5806-02
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsWestern Blot: 1:1000 detected Citrulline on 10ug of human cornified cell lysate. The human cornified cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membranes and probed with C5086-02. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) donkey anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:300 detected Citrulline in human skin tissue.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary AntibodiesI1904-46E: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab DkxRb
I1904-46K: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab DkxRb
Positive Control
Human cornified cell lysate
