| Clathrin consists of three heavy chain (192kD) and three light chains (LCa or LCb, 25-29kD). It self-assembles into a polyhedral cytoskeletal element. Self-assembly facilitates clathrin’s central role in membrane sorting and selective transport within the cell. | | | Catalog # | C5835-08X | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunoprecipitation (Denatured verified): 2ug/mg protein using Protein A. | | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2hrs at RT | | Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT.
