| CLEC14A (C-type lectin domain family 14 member A; also EGFR5) is a 51kD (predicted) member of the C-type lectin domain family of proteins. It is a type I transmembrane protein, apparently expressed in brain and about which little is known. Mature human CLEC14A is 469aa in length. It contains a 376aa extracellular region (aa22-397) and a 72aa cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular region shows one C-type lectin like domain (aa32-175) and an EGF-like region (aa245-287). Over aa2-397, human CLEC14A shares 66% and 81%aa identity with mouse and canine CLEC14A, respectively. | | | Catalog # | C5839-73T1 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Absorption | 488nm | | Emission | 565-605nm | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2B | | Clone No | 12K67 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | Not determined | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in saline, 0.5% BSA, 0.1% sodium azide. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Recombinant corresponding to aa22-397 from the extracellular domain of human CLEC14A expressed in NSO cell line. | | Specificity | Recognizes human CLEC14A. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
