Cofilin belongs to the actin-binding protein ADF family and it contains 1 ADF-H domain. Cofilin controls reversible actin polymerization and depolymerization in a pH-sensitive manner. It has the ability to bind G- and F-actin at a 1	1 ratio. It is the major component of intranuclear and cytoplasmic actin rods. It is involved in the translocation of the actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus. This protein is widely distributed in various tissues.
Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml
	Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml
	Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
