Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

SpecificityReacts with conformational determinants on human and bovine type IV collagen as demonstrated by ELISA. May react with type IV collagen from other species. Exhibits <10% crossreactivity with collagen types I, II, III, V and VI. Not tested for reactivity with other extracellular matrix proteins (e.g. laminin, bronectin).
