Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B
Cortactin is an 80-85kD actin-binding protein, which consists of a variety of protein domains. The nature and function of these domains, coupled with the presence of multiple consensus sites for phosphorylation by tyrosine and serine/threonine kinases, suggests that cortactin integrates activation of specific signaling pathways with cytoskeletal reorganization.
Catalog #C7901-87
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml; The antibody detects an 80kD protein from 30ug EGF/A431 cells.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
